Advent Season Introduction: God Becomes Human

The world celebrates Christmas without really understanding what it means.  It is God revealed in  human flesh, the great mystery of our faith.  Do I fully understand the incarnation?  No, but I believe it with my whole heart and I can celebrate His incarnation all year.  But it also has implications that affect my life every day.  In this newest series of blogs, I will explore  the will of God, the favor and blessing of God, and what those mean by looking at Mary’s life before and after the birth of the Son of God.

I keep my nativity scene up all year around because I want to be reminded that God came in human form to be the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world.  That doesn’t change because December 25th is over and all the presents are opened.  It’s just the beginning of a Life worth celebrating.
